Welcome to John Adams Middle School. My name is Brant Goetz and I am Principal. This is my fourth year at John Adams and my 17^th year in Rochester Public Schools. Our building and district mission will continue to be to Inspire, Challenge and Empower all students with the knowledge and skills required to reach their full potential, to contribute to future generations, and to become involved members of a global community. We have an amazing group of teachers and support staff, as well as a wonderful community of families and students.

I started my career as a special education teacher in the Twin Cities Metro Area.  In 2006, my wife Wendy and I decided to move the family to Rochester. This is where I grew up. Since returning to Rochester, I have worked as Assistant Principal at Gibbs Elementary and John Adams Middle School. I have also served as Special Education Supervisor at the middle school level, as well as Principal at Elton Hills Elementary. I have three wonderful kids: Brevin, Teagan, and Payton. We have two Goldendoodles: Emmie and Griffey. They keep us busy.
